Professional Endorsements for Deb Chaney
“ Our counseling team recently had the pleasure of working with Deb during our year end program retreat. Deb put together an amazing morning conducive to rich professional development, self expression and nurturing by way of an art process that allowed for a non threatening exploration of paint, canvas and a wild selection of tools! Deb’s ability to create a safe environment for experiential learning served to inspire and enlighten our counsellor’s on both personal and professional levels - since the workshop many continue to explore this creative medium as a personal outlet, while others are finding ways to integrate their learning, and newly found comfort and familiarity with paint and tools, in their work with children and youth.”
-Kareen Hudson, Family Services of Greater Vancouver
“I first met Deborah Chaney at the independent Study program at the Kanuga watercolor retreat, in Asheville, North Carolina in the summer of 2007. My experience in art has spanned over thirty years and teaching water media seminars locally and nationally for ten years. I have had many competent and passionate students over the course of these teaching years. Deborah stand out above the rest as having tremendous energy and passion to learn and express her inner being with the tools she has acquired thus far. Deborah has the ability to attain great work. Her tenacity is unparalleled. She has attained great success within a fairly short period of time. When Deborah says she will do something she follows through with tremendous fervor and accomplishes beyond the originals task.”
~ Lana Grow, AWS
“Deb Chaney is a true team player and has no jealousies or fears that hold so many artists back from being vital members of an artists’ community. As an art-marketing consultant, I come across hundreds of artists every year who are less than sure of their paths or what they even want to do with their art. I consider them hobbyists. They don’t bother to spend time learning how to function as a professional. Deb Chaney is not one of those artists. She is committed, talented, and personable. I admire Ms. Chaney and her unwavering commitment to her art, as well as her devotion to the larger advancement of art in a community.”
~ Alyson B. Stanfield, MA, Stanfield Art Associates, Inc. http://www.artbizcoach.com
“I am writing to express my sincere endorsement of the artist, Deb Chaney. Deb attended two of my creative training intensives and has participated one-on-one with me as a client. She is one of the most passionate and dedicated artists I know. Her enthusiasm for her work is not only contagious but is also inspirational. She actively follows through with her intentions more than most other artists I have worked with. Deb uses her assertiveness and ingenuity to go to every effort to make happen that which she sets out to complete. Her vision is courageous and innovative and is bound to the facilitation of beauty and thoughtfulness to any environment in which her work appears. Deb is committed, energetic and a delight to interact with.”
